Gardsil

Were you looking for information about Gardasil? Gardsil is a common misspelling of Gardasil.

Gardasil® (Quadrivalent Human Papillomavirus [Types 6, 11, 16, and 18] Recombinant Vaccine) is a type of vaccine used to help prevent several conditions caused by certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV). Although Gardasil does not protect against all types of HPV, it can help protect against four of the most common types, which can cause cervical cancer, vulvar and vaginal cancer, genital warts, and various precancerous genital lesions. Because Gardasil is not suitable for everyone, make sure to talk to your healthcare provider about your medical history and any other medicines you are taking (including vitamins and herbal supplements) before using Gardasil.
